Don A. Fredericks, 88, passed on September 26, 2016 in Greenwood, IN. He was born in Wichita, KS on May 25, 1928 to Lloyd and Thelma M. Fredericks. He was a graduate of North High, Friends University, and Wichita State University. Don was a former Wichita Police Officer for 10 years and was appointed Director for Indiana and Kentucky for the US Treasury Department from 1962-1987.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Trenidad Jimenez Fredericks; daughter, Eve; and several grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Fredericks and Thelma M. Andrus; his son, Don; and daughter, Victoria Brune.
A funeral mass will be held in Don’s name on October 4 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Indianapolis, IN. Don was an avid fisherman, loved sports and loved to sing as a vocalist for many events in his early years. He was well respected by his peers, loved by his family and will be missed by all.
